Is it hot in here, or have I been scrolling on TikTok for a little too long?
There is a movement happening on TikTok: women in menopause are sharing their experiences more openly than ever before.
And they’re doing it in all sorts of ways: from dancing and skits to straight talk facts from doctors, these women are getting the message out there–and they’re creating conversation and real impact.
I started sharing my menopause story openly on TikTok in February 2022, and I saw an incredible response from women (A video where I list 34 symptoms of menopause received more than 1.3 million views!)
While I’m not a doctor, and I wouldn’t consider myself a “menopause expert,” what I am is a journalist, storyteller, and a convener of people who make an impact. So I decided to bring together the top voices who have contributed to the menopause movement on TikTok for #MenopauseTok!
